Niklas Östberg is the Co-founder and CEO of Delivery Hero. He has been involved in the start-up scene since the late 90’s after spending several years in banking and consultancy. Following five years as a management consultant at Oliver Wyman, he co-founded Pizza.nu (later OnlinePizza.se) where he served as the full-time chairman. Niklas was responsible for building market leading online food ordering companies in Poland, Finland and Austria.

Niklas holds a Master of Industrial Engineering & Management from Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm & ETH Zurich.

Pieter-Jan Vandepitte joined Delivery Hero in August 2015 as Chief International Officer. Pieter-Jan is responsible for the International Markets, and he is the global lead for Sales, Customer Care and Business Intelligence. Prior to joining Delivery Hero he worked as CFO for Peak Games, International VP for Groupon, and was co-founder of Citydeal, before it was acquired by Groupon. Before entering the start-up scene he worked for Mckinsey as a management consultant, and Deloitte in M&A and Transaction Support.

Pieter-Jan holds an MBA from Insead (France/Singapore) and a Master degree in Commercial Engineering from the University of Leuven, Belgium.

Emmanuel Thomassin joined Delivery Hero in January 2014 as Chief Financial Officer. Emmanuel is responsible for the financial activities of Delivery Hero, as well as the management of several internal departments. Before joining, he was the CFO at the Berlin-based incubator and Delivery Hero investor, Team Europe. Until late 2012 Emmanuel spent 6 years as the CFO and executive board member of MetaDesign, the international corporate branding agency based in Berlin. In this role he was responsible for the HR, Legal, IT and Finance departments and managed the relationship to customers like FIFA, AstraZeneca or Voith.

Emmanuel holds masters degrees from the French University and from the German Fachhochschule in Economics.

Mats Diedrichsen joined Delivery Hero in January 2015 as Chief Marketing Officer. Mats is responsible for all marketing activities globally. Before joining Delivery Hero he has over the last 6 years successfully held CMO roles with several ecommerce startups in Berlin and London managing large size marketing teams focused on high growth and internationalization. Before entering the startup scene he worked for Dell and Google in total 6 years holding different international marketing roles in Dublin and Copenhagen.

Mats hold an MSc in Economics from Lund’s University.

Bodo joined Delivery Hero in 2013. He started as Head of PR, today he is responsible for the company’s corporate communications. Before joining Delivery Hero he worked in the comms area for 20 years, holding various positions in journalism, marketing and PR at companys such as Burda, Springer or Betfair.

Bodo is a graduate of Deutsche Journalistenschule in Munich, and Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin. In addition he holds a Diplom (equiv. to MSc) in Regionalwissenschaften from University of Cologne.

Bilal joined Delivery Hero in May 2015 to head Investor Relations. Prior to his role at Delivery Hero Bilal was a Managing Director at Rocket Internet for three years responsible for fundraising & co-investments for Rocket’s global portfolio raising over $3bn in private capital. Bilal has more than 12 years experience in Investment Banking and management. Before Rocket, Bilal headed the Family office division at Boutique firm Capstan Capital. Prior to Capstan Capital Bilal worked at UBS for 5 years in the ECM division responsible for IPO origination and execution. Bilal first started his career in 2000, where he worked for Deutsche Bank from 2000-2005 in the TMT M&A department as well as having spent a year in the Private Placement division focusing on funding for Pre-IPO companies in the Tech and Bio-tech space.

Bilal holds a Bsc in International Business & Finance from Lancaster University.

Lukasz Gadowski serves as Chairman of the Board at Delivery Hero. He is an internet entrepreneur and investor. His track record includes: Co-founder at Delivery Hero: Co-founder and CEO at Spreadshirt; Co-founder and Partner at Team Europe (Company Builder); Co-founder and Advisor at Point Nine Capital (early stage VC). Founding Investor and/or Company Builder at studiVZ, Mister Spex, brands4friends.com, SponsorPay, HitFox Group, Käuferportal, and others. Lukasz is Chairman of most of the aforementioned companies. Further, he is Co-founder and was founding editor at gruenderszene.de, today one of Europe’s largest magazines on entrepreneurship.

He studied Business Informatics in Paderborn, and Business in Mannheim and at the HHL Leipzig, including a stint as visiting student at Georgia Tech, Atlanta.

Jeff Lieberman is a managing director at Insight Venture Partners. He joined the firm in 1998 and has worked extensively with consumer internet and application software companies. Jeff has led the successful exits of multiple eCommerce and software companies. He currently serves on the board or oversees Insight’s investments. In 2014 Jeff was selected by AlwaysOn as a Venture Capital 100 winner for his investments in Cvent.

Jeff received dual degrees in systems engineering and finance from the University of Pennsylvania’s Moore School of Engineering and Wharton School of Business, respectively, where he graduated with honors.

Prior to Kite, Edward was a founding executive at SUP, a Moscow-based online media company, which operates Livejournal.com, Gazeta.ru, and Championat.ru. Edward is also a co-founder and board member of Merchantry, a NYC-based multichannel commerce enabler.

Kolja Hebenstreit is an Internet Entrepreneur & Investor based in Berlin. Kolja is currently a Board Member & Co-Founder of Delivery Hero and Advisor/Investor & Co-Founder of Point Nine Capital.

Nevzat Aydın is the co-founder and global CEO of Yemeksepeti, which introduced a new breath to the Turkish e-commerce market. The company later on expanded to the Middle East with their global brand Foodonclick.com and currently serves in the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan and Greece.

Nevzat graduated from Bursa Anadolu High School. He studied computer engineering at Boğaziçi University and after graduating went to Silicon Valley to pursue his MBA degree at the University of San Francisco.

Chris Caulkin wide

Chris Caulkin is a Principal at General Atlantic focusing his efforts on opportunities in the Business Services and Internet & Technology sectors across Eastern and Western Europe. He joined General Atlantic in their London office in 2011 and serves on the board of Studio Moderna.

Prior to joining General Atlantic, he worked for Warburg Pincus in London for four years where he focused on investments in the Media, Business Services and Education spaces. Before Warburg Pincus, Chris was an associate at The Boston Consulting Group in London where he worked on a range of Media, Technology and Financial Services projects.
