Delivery Hero appoints new members to Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Board

Berlin, 21 December 2022 – Delivery Hero SE (“Delivery Hero” or “the Group”), the world’s leading local delivery platform, today announced the appointment of its new Diversity and Inclusion (“D&I”) Advisory Board members, concluding the service of the first year’s board members. Launched at the end of 2021, the board is set up to act as a body of experience and expertise, striving to influence and improve Delivery Hero’s D&I strategy and approach. Following a successful first year, the board will continue in its mandate to provide regular advice and consultation on D&I matters, increase the legitimacy and weight of the D&I work internally and externally, and act as D&I Ambassadors on behalf of Delivery Hero. 

Ana Mitrasevic, Chair of the D&I Advisory Board and SVP People and Culture, said: “The vision of the D&I Advisory Board is to support and enable the creation, nurturing, and continual enhancement of a global, inclusive culture where ownership is embedded throughout the organization. I’m pleased to announce our new appointments for the board’s second year and look forward to continuing to build strong practices that enhance the sense of belonging of the underrepresented groups within the Delivery Hero Group and increase their representation.

Newly appointed members from within the Delivery Hero Group include Ann-Sofie Cuyvers, Gladys Wojda, Sebastian Castaneda, Ingo Laubender, Nasia Makrygianni, and Francisco Carruthers. In order to carry out specific regional initiatives across the globe, deputy representatives from within the Group have also been appointed in Berlin, Dubai, Singapore, and Buenos Aires. Lauren von Stackelberg, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer at the LEGO Group, and Diana Navas-Rosette,  Senior Director of Global D&I Communities, Strategic Solutions, and Innovation at Microsoft have also been appointed as external board members. 

The goals and outcomes for the D&I Advisory Board will be co-created with the new members based on Delivery Hero’s overall strategy in early 2023. Key areas of focus will include increasing employee knowledge and exchange around unconscious bias and the experiences of underrepresented groups, ensuring equitable processes are embedded across the employee lifecycle, and empowering leaders and managers to take ownership of D&I within their teams.
