Delivery Hero adapts ”Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB)” non-financial reporting standards and updates carbon footprint

Berlin, 25 August 2021 ﹣ Delivery Hero SE (“Delivery Hero”), the world’s leading local delivery platform, expands its annual non-financial report to include ”Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB)” standards from 2021 onwards, to ensure sustainable growth and maintain a high level of transparency for its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) impact. This will be reflected in Delivery Hero’s next Annual Report to be published in early 2022.

Commitment on carbon neutrality
Delivery Hero is committed to building a more sustainable delivery ecosystem. The company has pledged to become carbon neutral globally by the end of 2021 and has already achieved carbon neutrality in Europe and Latin America. Delivery Hero is providing a revised carbon footprint of 278,822 tonnes CO₂ equivalent across operations in these two regions for 2020. This new figure substitutes the previous estimated value in the 2020 Annual Report and is provided to communicate final CO₂ emissions calculations based on data received after the publishing date of the Annual Report.
