Christian von Hardenberg, CTO at Delivery Hero, said:

Our team at Delivery Hero is always aiming to deliver product and tech innovations. We are now putting our experience and expertise to the service of those in need by integrating ShareTheMeal, a meal donation functionality, directly in our local apps. Tech teams from both Delivery Hero and ShareTheMeal have worked hard to build a seamless product that is scalable and can be further rolled out to more of our apps in the future.

The two Berlin-based tech organizations Delivery Hero and ShareTheMeal have been working closely together to make it easy for customers to give back to their communities. The partnership resulted in a donation functionality integrated in Delivery Hero’s local apps. This allows for a seamless donation process, becoming an integral part of the order flow and customer journey. Now, sharing a meal becomes as easy as ordering one, bringing us one step closer to help fight hunger all over the world.
