Niklas Östberg is the Co-founder and CEO of Delivery Hero. He has been involved in the start-up scene since the late 90’s after spending several years in banking and consultancy. Following five years as a management consultant at Oliver Wyman, he co-founded Pizza.nu (later OnlinePizza.se) where he served as the full-time chairman. Niklas was responsible for building market leading online food ordering companies in Poland, Finland and Austria.
Niklas holds a Master of Industrial Engineering & Management from Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm & ETH Zurich.
Pieter-Jan Vandepitte joined Delivery Hero in August 2015 as Chief Operating Officer. Pieter-Jan is responsible for the International Markets, and he is the global lead for Sales, Customer Care and Business Intelligence. Prior to joining Delivery Hero he worked as CFO for Peak Games, International VP for Groupon, and was co-founder of Citydeal, before it was acquired by Groupon. Before entering the start-up scene he worked for McKinsey as a management consultant, and Deloitte in M&A and Transaction Support.
Pieter-Jan holds an MBA from Insead (France/Singapore) and a Master degree in Commercial Engineering from the University of Leuven, Belgium.
Emmanuel Thomassin joined Delivery Hero in January 2014 as Chief Financial Officer. Emmanuel is responsible for the financial activities of Delivery Hero, as well as the management of several internal departments. Before joining, he was the CFO at the Berlin-based incubator and Delivery Hero investor, Team Europe. Until late 2012 Emmanuel spent 6 years as the CFO and executive board member of MetaDesign, the international corporate branding agency based in Berlin. In this role he was responsible for the HR, Legal, IT and Finance departments and managed the relationship to customers like FIFA, AstraZeneca or Voith.
Emmanuel holds masters degrees from the French University and from the German Fachhochschule in Economics.
Mats Diedrichsen joined Delivery Hero in January 2015 as Chief Marketing Officer. Mats is responsible for all marketing activities globally. Before joining Delivery Hero he has over the last 6 years successfully held CMO roles with several ecommerce startups in Berlin and London managing large size marketing teams focused on high growth and internationalization. Before entering the startup scene he worked for Dell and Google in total 6 years holding different international marketing roles in Dublin and Copenhagen.
Mats hold an MSc in Economics from Lund’s University.
Christian von Hardenberg joined Delivery Hero in June 2016 as the Chief Technology Officer. Christian is responsible for all information technology and engineering at Delivery Hero. Before joining, he spent 5 years as the CTO at Rocket Internet where he helped launch more than 30 internet companies worldwide. He also served as Interim CTO of Lazada and built the Rocket Internet technology platform. Before Rocket, he was CTO and later CEO of Metaversum, a Berlin based startup that builds 3D virtual worlds based on real cities. Earlier, Christian spent time as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group and also built simulation systems for the automotive industry at ART+COM.
Christian holds his Masters in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Technical University of Berlin.
In February 2017 Ralf took on the role of Chief Strategy Officer for Delivery Hero in which he is responsible for group strategy, corporate development, investor relationships and corporate comms. Ralf is the founder and former CEO of the foodpanda group, which revolutionized the online food ordering business in emerging markets. Prior to this, he held the position of Group Chief Operating Officer at London based Skrill Holdings, which operates the online payment system Skrill/Moneybookers, and was acquired by Optimal Payments for 1.1 billion EUR in 2015. Before that, Ralf was the Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Jamba, a leading mobile content and technology business acquired by News Corp in 2008.
Ralf holds a degree in Computer Science and has developed various innovative and proprietary software solutions. Ralf also studied, lived and worked in Latin America for many years.
Eric Lange joined Delivery Hero in May 2017 as Chief Product Officer. Eric is responsible for all products at Delivery Hero globally, including product management, design and analytics. Eric has more than two decades of experience across engineering and product functions in both the Silicon Valley as well as globally in China, India and Europe. Prior to joining, Eric led product teams as VP Customer Experience at Flipkart, VP Advertising Products at Yahoo, as well as several product leadership roles at Google. Eric also worked as a software developer for 10 years at startups and established companies in the Silicon Valley and Chicago.
Eric holds a degree in Computer Engineering as well as an MBA.
Dr. Martin Enderle was born in Karlsruhe, Germany, in 1965. Dr. Enderle studied mathematics and physics in Karlsruhe, London and Hannover. He received a doctorate degree from the University of Hanover in 1995. Dr. Enderle started his career with McKinsey & Company and after further engagements with T-Online International AG as SVP International Business, and nine years as CEO of Scout 24 Holding GmbH, Dr. Enderle is now managing director of allmyhomes GmbH.
Jeffrey Lieberman was born in Passaic, New Jersey, in the U.S., in 1974. Mr. Lieberman graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the U.S. and holds degrees in systems engineering and economics. Mr. Lieberman is a managing director of the private equity/venture capital firm, Insight Venture Partners, where he has been employed since June 1998. Prior to joining Insight Venture Partners, Mr. Lieberman was a management consultant at the New York office of McKinsey & Company, where he focused on strategic and operating issues in the financial services, technology, and consumer products industries.
Lukasz Gadowski is an internet entrepreneur and investor. His track record includes: co-founder at Delivery Hero, co-founder and partner at Team Europe (company builder), and co-founder and advisor at Point Nine Capital (early stage venture capital). Also, he was a founding investor and/or company builder at studiVZ, Mister Spex, brands4friends.com, SponsorPay, HitFox Group, Käuferportal, and others. Lukasz Gadowski serves or served as chairman at most of the aforementioned companies. Further, he is co-founder and was founding editor at gruenderszene.de, today one of Europe’s largest entrepreneurship magazines.

Jonathan Green was born in 1977 in Hong Kong. He received a B.A. degree in Psychology and Economics from Brown University in 1999 (“with honors”). Between 1999 and 2004, he was an associate at Wasserstein Perella and the spin-off of its financial restructuring group, Miller Buckfire & Co. As an investment banker, Mr. Green advised companies, creditors and other constituents from a wide range of industries in several out-of-court and bankruptcy business reorganization matters. The services provided included financing and M&A transactions as part of highly complex reorganizations. In March 2004, Jonathan Green joined Luxor Capital Group, LP, where he is a Partner. He focuses the majority of his time on internet and retail companies. Mr. Green also serves on Luxor Capital Group, LP’s Investment Committee.
Georg Graf Waldersee was born in Cologne, Germany, in 1955. He studied economics at the University of Bonn, and received a degree in business administration from the University of Hamburg. He is a German certified chartered accountant. Graf Waldersee’s career began with Arthur Andersen in 1982 and he became a partner in 1991. During his time at Arthur Andersen he led the German Assurance and Business Advisory Practice (1998-2001) before being appointed to Managing Partner for the Nordic Countries (2001-2002). From 2002 to 2016 Georg Graf Waldersee was a member of the management board of Ernst & Young (EY) in Germany, which he chaired from 2011 onwards. From 2008 to his retirement in 2016 he was the Regional Managing Partner of EY for Germany, Switzerland and Austria (GSA) and a member of the Area Executive Committee of EY for Europe, Middle-East, India and Africa (EMEIA).
Patrick Kolek was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the U.S., in 1971. He received his B.S. in commerce from Santa Clara University. From 1993 to 1999, Mr. Kolek worked within the corporate finance and audit divisions at Ernst & Young and is a certified public accountant. He later worked as corporate controller at Novellus Systems from 1999 to 2004. Mr. Kolek maintained various positions within eBay, Inc. from 2004 to 2014 most recently as vice president and chief financial officer at eBay International (2013-2014). Currently, Mr. Kolek holds a position as group chief operating officer at Naspers Limited. Additionally, he serves as a member of the board of directors for MakeMyTrip.com.
