Diversity and Inclusion at Delivery Hero

Our D&I Strategy

One of our core values is: we are Heroes because we care. Guided by this value, we consider it our responsibility to our Heroes, customers, and the communities we operate in to create an environment where everyone feels welcome, where belonging and representation are championed, where differences are celebrated, and where people can thrive. With this in mind, we continue to develop D&I initiatives that make a long-lasting impact, both for Delivery Hero’s headquarters in Berlin and our local entities in around 50 countries. Our approach is built on three core pillars of Diversity & Inclusion for 2022 and beyond.

Introducing Delivery Hero’s Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Board

Established in 2021, the Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Board (“DAB”) acts as an internal and external body of expertise and experience to influence and improve Delivery Hero’s D&I work. 

The mandate of the board is three-fold: provide regular advice and act as a sounding board for the D&I program, strengthen the global inclusion work across the group, as well as being ambassadors within and outside the organization – championing D&I at Delivery Hero and beyond. Learn more.

What's next?

At Delivery Hero, we know that diversity and inclusion is not a static target, but rather an ongoing journey, filled with continuous reflection, conversation and change. We are excited for what’s to come as we continue to do our best to create and sustain an environment of belonging. 

 

In 2022 and beyond, we will continue enhancing representation through a foundation of equity and empowering all of our Heroes to contribute to an inclusive workplace. We will also be putting more focus on how we can use Delivery Hero’s platform to empower all the communities we reach.
