Delivery Hero emphasizes its desire to further inclusivity and equitable structures through LSVD donation

Berlin, 12 September 2023 – Delivery Hero, the world’s leading local delivery platform, recently donated over 10,000 EUR to Lesben-und Schwulenverband Deutschland (LSVD), a German civil rights association focused on advocating for the interests and concerns of the LGBTQIA+ community. The donation was made as part of the company’s goal to place an extra emphasis on going beyond visibility for this year’s Pride Month.

In cooperation with the Proud Heroes, Delivery Hero’s LGBTQIA+ employee resource group, the donation was presented to an LSVD representative at the company’s “Loud and Proud Fest” event in late July. The amount will go towards the organization’s Queer Refugees Deutschland Project, whose aim is to help queer refugees navigate the structures existing throughout Germany, support them during that process, as well as advising the organizations working with them.

On a wider level, we also want to drive change outside of our own bubble, and contribute in a meaningful way to the community.
